Sound stops when the screen turns off?

Brume plays through a standard Android media service, which survives the screen turning off on stock Android. Some manufacturers (Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, some Samsung power modes) ship aggressive "battery optimisers" that kill background media. If sound stops overnight:

On iPhone, Brume keeps playing with the screen off and plays at the media volume.

I bought Pro and it shows locked

Open Brume, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases, while signed into the store account that bought it: the Google account on Android, the Apple Account on iPhone. Pro is a one-time purchase tied to that store account, not to a device.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store you bought Brume Pro from, under its own policy: Google Play refunds or Apple refunds. If a purchase is refunded, Pro locks again. We never see your payment details, so we cannot issue one ourselves.

Casting: the speaker or TV does not appear

Casting is free for everyone. Your phone and the Google Cast speaker or TV need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. Tap the cast icon, pick the speaker or TV, and it plays on its own: your phone can leave the room or go to sleep, and the sleep timer runs on the speaker too. Disconnect from the cast icon to stop casting; your mix stays on the phone, paused and ready to play.

iPhone asks whether Brume may find devices on your local network

Allow it. That is how Brume finds your Chromecast, and casting will not work without it. If you said no, turn it back on in iOS Settings under Brume.

The timer didn't stop the sound?

The sleep timer fades over its final 30 seconds and then stops playback completely, ending the notification too. If you see otherwise, tell us your device model and Android version.

How do I get Brume?

Brume is on Google Play. Install it from the Google Play listing; updates arrive automatically through Google Play. On iPhone, Brume is in TestFlight beta: join the TestFlight beta, and updates arrive through TestFlight.

Found a bug? Have a thought?

Email us any time. For bugs, include your device model, the Android or iOS version, and the Brume version, which is shown at the bottom of Settings. Feature ideas are welcome too.

Where is my data, and what happens if I uninstall?

Brume has no accounts and nothing to sign in to. Your saved mixes, settings, timers and the record that Pro is unlocked live on your device, and uninstalling removes them, so note down a mix you love before you reinstall. Your Pro purchase stays with your store account and comes back with Restore purchases. The privacy page has the detail.

Feature ideas

Send them in. Brume stays small and private, but the sound library will keep growing (Pro includes everything we ever add).
